Odysseus

Hans-Kristian Kjos Sørensen is the artistic leader of this project which includes music, ballet and acting.
ODYSSEUS  includes our own arrangements of meditaerian folk music and contemporary classical music by Ligeti, Messiaen and Xenakis, with texts chosen from Homers The Odyssey, the Greek composer Georges Aperghis and improvisation.
This is no attempt of dramatizing the whole book of Homer, but rather drawing out the prophecies of Kirke, Odyssevs tasks on his journey, friendship, sacrifices and the courage it takes to be present in our own lives.
